(Production Pianist)
We welcome Mimi to her fourth season at the Post Playhouse. Locals will tell you that Mimi Norman is “just amazing” at that keyboard. They’ll be shocked to see her playing music during the performances this summer. She is one of those gals who plays for dinners, receptions and other events and can sit and talk to you while she plays beautiful music. Growing up on a ranch in western Nebraska in a musical family, Mimi must have shown keyboard promise early or otherwise how did she know all those songs? She spent a number of years playing in Las Vegas and then came back to her roots with her family and has developed a career in performing and teaching. She and her sister Laurie both teach piano and help their mom Norma with the church choir in Whitney. Thank you Mimi, for making room for the Post Playhouse in your summer schedule! |

(percussionist)
I am excited to have the opportunity to utilize my music experience in a new adventure that I have never experienced. I have been playing music since I was eight years old and have played drums in many different music ensembles. Some of my fondest memories playing music in my career has been opening for acts such as T.G. Shephard, Brenda Lee, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Willie Nelson. I also am honored to say that I had the opportunity to play at Dollywood for a season. Currently I play in a three piece band from Chadron known as “The Bahr Flies.” Recently I have also expanded my talents to include playing in a band at the church our family attends. While music has always been a big part of my life, my main focus these days is my wife, Rebecca and my four awesome children, Jared, Ozzy, A.J., and Josh. I have learned that recognition, money, and personal items are not what life is about, but it is about the memories that you leave with your children. |
